About Me

TREATMENT APPROACH & MODALITIES
Each of us comes to therapy with our own unique history, challenges, and strengths. My broad training and experience allows me to draw from a wide knowledge base to create a way of working that is tailored to your individual needs.  As an interactive, solution-focused psychotherapist, my approach is to provide support and constructive feedback to help you resolve both current struggles and long-standing problematic patterns.   We will build on your strengths and identify areas of growth to help you live a richer and more fulfilling life.  I hold a deep belief in people’s ability to discover their own inherent place of internal peace and harmony.

Clients find that my approach of working holistically provides unanticipated benefits for them.  I integrate the profession’s more traditional methods with contemporary approaches such as cognitive-behavioral techniques, mindfulness/relaxation skills training, body-focusing/awareness, bibilotherapy and guided imagery.  Through our work you will develop skills and be provided with take-home tools to effectively handle and overcome life’s stressors. My clients value my warm, supportive, nonjudgmental stance, and comment on how easy I am to talk to.  You will be empathically challenged to take active steps to ensure the integration and consolidation of our work together.
